MEET NIKKI.

Transformative Leadership. Intentional Impact. Focused on our Future.

Nikki Davis-Green is a proud second-generation Eagle, accomplished business professional, and dedicated servant leader of North Carolina Central University. A 1998 graduate of the School of Business, she has more than 30 years of experience in marketing, business development, and event management in private and non-profit sectors and brings a deep commitment to advancing the mission and legacy of HBCUs in all of her roles.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Nikki’s connection to NCCU is both personal and generational. She is a former Chancellor’s Scholar, a proud NCCU parent, and a committed mentor to current students and young alumni. Her work reflects the power of alumni engagement and fuels her passion to ensure every Eagle student and alumnus has access to opportunity, networking, and support.

A Life Member of the NCCU Alumni Association, Nikki has been recognized with the Association’s Truth and Service Award, the President’s Award, and was named NCCUAA Alumnus of the Year in 2023. In 2024, she was also honored as Alumnus of the Year by the A.L. Harper Foundation for her impactful work supporting HBCU students and advancing student engagement. Nikki has served in key leadership roles within the National Alumni Association, including Vice President from July 2024 to June 2025, before stepping into the role of National President to complete the current term. During her tenure, she has focused on strengthening university alignment, enhancing the associations organizational structure, and prioritizing student engagement, membership growth, and long-term sustainability.

Prior to serving in National Association leadership, Nikki served as President of the NCCU Charlotte Alumni Chapter for four years, leading transformational growth that redefined the chapter’s impact and visibility. Under her leadership, the chapter grew to over 300 financial members for the first time, in her first year, earning the chapter recognition for its energy and engagement. She significantly increased scholarship fundraising and the total dollars awarded to students during her time as President, ensuring greater access and support for future Eagles.

As an alumni leader, Nikki has prioritized intentional student engagement, organizing campus visits for potential students, hosting student check-ins, and creating meaningful touchpoints with alumni to ensure students feel supported both during their time at NCCU and as they transition into young alumni and early adulthood. Through mentorship, programming, and consistent presence, she helped bridge the gap between student life and alumni engagement, building lasting relationships and pathways for success and creating opportunities for other alumni to do the same. Widely praised as an inspiring and results-driven leader, Nikki has cultivated a culture of service, accountability, and pride in every role she is called to – personally becoming a model for alumni engagement and impact.

Nikki currently serves on the NCCU Foundation Board and as an advisory board member for the School of Business Hospitality and Destination Management Program, further deepening her commitment to the University’s growth and student success.

Nikki’s leadership in the National Alumni Association is guided by purpose, grounded in service, and driven by a clear vision: to build a stronger, more connected, and more impactful Alumni Association aligned with NCCU’s strategic vision and future.
